Job Description:
The Paramus, New Jersey office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its expanding New York and New Jersey General Liability practice groups. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, work alongside experienced litigators, contribute to case strategy and development, and build strong relationships with firm clients.

The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of civil litigation experience. Prior experience in insurance defense is preferred. Candidates must be active members in good standing of both the New York and New Jersey Bars.

Qualifications:
  • 1–5 years of civil litigation experience
  • Prior insurance defense experience preferred
  • Admission to the New York and New Jersey Bars in good standing
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to contribute to litigation strategy, manage case responsibilities, and work collaboratively with attorneys and clients

Compensation:
Salary ranges from $120,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
