Thompson Coburn is seeking an associate with 2-4 years of relevant legal experience to join its business litigation group in the New York office. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex business disputes, including drafting motions and pleadings, conducting legal research, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trial preparation. Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Prior commercial litigation experience in both state and/or federal courts in New York is required. This position is open to recruiters. All candidates must currently be licensed to practice law in the New York.The salary range for this position in our New York office is $205,000-$240,000. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on relevant skills, training, and other job-related factors. The range listed is just one part of Thompson Coburn's total compensation and benefits package, which includes productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident, and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
