Job Description:Whiteford's Richmond, Virginia office is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate with at least one year of experience to work on a diverse range of matters involving community associations (property owners' associations and condominium unit owners' associations), general counsel representation, general business litigation, and trust, estate, and fiduciary litigation, including will contests, trust contests and disputes, guardianship and conservatorship matters, and power of attorney disputes.
This is an opportunity for an attorney who enjoys both courtroom advocacy and the strategic, practical aspects of advising clients. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills, sound judgment, excellent attention to detail, experience with litigation matters, and an interest in developing meaningful client relationships. Deposition and/or trial experience is a plus. The successful candidate should be self-directed and have a strong desire for courtroom exposure.
Candidates must be currently admitted to practice in Virginia.
The salary range is $145,000 – $180,000 commensurate with experience.
