What You'll Do:
Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities may include:
- Manage a civil litigation caseload with partner support
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal analysis
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear in court for hearings, motions, and conferences
- Participate in mediations
- Develop case strategy
- Work with experts
- Prepare matters for trial
- Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel
Who We're Looking for:
- Active California Bar license
- Experienced litigators are encouraged to apply
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Sound professional judgment
- Ability to manage deadlines and take initiative
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach
- Genuine interest in developing as a litigator
- Experience in general liability, personal injury, insurance defense, construction defect, premises liability, transportation, or trial work is a plus, but not required.
