Job Summary:
Prominent Manhattan Plaintiff's personal injury firm looking to add an attorney to its labor law department. You will be responsible for managing labor law cases from intake to resolution under the supervision of the department's manager. To apply, please be prepared to submit a writing sample and a sample deposition transcript. Actual pay depends on your level of experience and job skills.

Responsibilities:

Conduct intake interviews with clients
Identify defendants, draft complaints
Schedule and conduct depositions
Draft and oppose motions, including for summary judgment
Evaluate cases for settlement and prepare them for trial

Skills:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the NY state bar in good standing
Three years personal injury experience; labor law experience preferred
Strong legal research and writing skills
Experience defending and taking depositions
Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills a bonus
