What will I be doing?
Advise U.S. and international corporate clients on complex employee benefits and executive compensation matters, including plan design, implementation, and compliance with evolving regulations. Provide legal support in mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions by leading due diligence, identifying risks, and managing post-closing processes. Serve as lead associate on deal teams, coordinating across practice groups to deliver comprehensive, business-focused legal solutions. $310,000/year
Requirements:
J.D., LL.M. or equivalent and three (3) years of experience as lawyer or related. Must have experience with executive compensation and employee benefits, including advising on compensation and benefits aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transaction; drafting and negotiating transactional and executive compensation documents, conducting due diligence, and addressing compliance with Section 409A and 208G; and advising multinational corporation on global reorganizations, integrations, and compensatory arrangements for portfolio companies. Must be eligible for or have license to practice law in New York.
