The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate with 3-7 years of experience to join our Seattle office.

You'll be a member of our consistently ranked and nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice group.

The Day-To-Day:
As an Associate in the Labor & Employment Department, you'll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.

You Have:
  • 3-7 years of employment litigation and counseling experience, including on single plaintiff litigation, administrative charges, policy reviews, and investigations; Commercial litigation experience a plus.
  • Other areas of expected experience: motion and brief drafting and at least some experience with depositions (either taking, defending, or significant involvement with same).
  • Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and solid work ethic.
  • Ability and drive to take responsibility for routine and increasingly complex matters with minimal supervision.
  • Any experience with or understanding of federal civil rules (trial or appellate), Washington civil rules (trial or appellate), employment agency rules and regulations (EEOC, DOL, OSHA, and equivalent Washington agencies), complex ESI issues, complex discovery, and/or workplace safety law is a plus (but not required).
  • Must be licensed and admitted to practice in Washington or have the ability to waive in by motion.
