Dorsey & Whitney LLP seeks a tax associate to join the Tax, Trusts & Estates group in our Seattle office. This associate will work on a wide range of transactional tax matters including structuring and forming business and investment entities, advising on tax issues in domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, restructurings, and equity and debt securities offerings, and advising on renewable energy projects including development, tax equity financing, purchase and sale transactions.The following qualifications are required:
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Strong academic performance
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Washington bar admission or the ability to become admitted in Washington
Some experience as a transactional tax attorney is preferred.
