Description:

We are seeking associates with 3-5 years of experience in complex employment litigation to join our Labor & Employment group. Our team advises, advocates, and protects the interests of companies of all sizes in virtually every industry. Among other things, we represent employers in high-stakes single plaintiff employment disputes and complex wage and hour class actions and advise on workforce practices and policies that prevent problems from occurring in the first place. Additionally, our practice is top ranked across industry publications, including The Legal 500 in the US and EMEA.

Salary is $260,000+ commensurate with class year and experience.

We are looking for candidates who have:
  • A fundamental understanding of federal and State employment laws.
  • Experience litigating employment disputes, including wage and hour class actions, single plaintiff discrimination, retaliation and harassment cases.
  • Experience advising clients on restrictive covenant issues consistent with California law.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions.
  • Experience drafting substantive motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment.
  • Experience appearing in Court on contested hearings.
  • Experience advising clients on California wage and hour compliance, including reviewing and revising employer policies on the same and managing wage and hour audits.
  • Experience with Traditional Labor is not necessary but is a plus.
