Description:
Fox Rothschild has an opening in its New York, NY office for an IP Litigation Associate with at least two to four years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will also have judicial law clerk and/or law firm experience. Candidates with backgrounds involving complex technologies and handling of IP disputes, or candidates with a law school certificate or concentration in Intellectual Property are encouraged to apply. Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Superior academic record and excellent writing skills required.
- Minimum two years of litigation experience required.
- Judicial law clerk experience and/or law firm experience required.
- Commercial or IP litigation experience preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary
range for this position applies to New York. The salary range reflects a
variety of factors that are considered in making compensation
decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure
and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other
business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual
to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable
estimate of the current range for this position is $215,000 - $245,000
in New York.
