Description:
We are currently seeking a full time 1st-3rd year associate to work in our Newark, CA office and to grow with the firm. This position requires the candidate to work onsite with flexible work from home after successful 6-month training. Compensation will depend on experience.Job Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to practice in the state of California and be in good standing with the State Bar of California
- Areas of practice: civil, family, business
- Maintain confidentiality of all records
- Ability to work well independently and with team members
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or cloud-based filing systems
- Strong organization and time management skills
- 1 to 3 years of legal experience preferred
Ability to commute/relocate: Newark, CA 94560: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Job Duties:
- Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, etc.
- Attend hearings, research issues, and correspond with clients
- Attend court sessions and depositions on time
