Eastman & Smith Ltd., an established firm with a history of longevity and stability and a committed vision for the future, is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney to join our team.We pride ourselves on our dynamic team and are seeking a candidate who will enhance our Intellectual Property Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 2–7 years of experience in intellectual property law and a passion for collaborating with clients and colleagues to develop innovative legal solutions.
The core responsibilities include domestic and international trademark prosecution, trademark clearance, and domestic trademark enforcement. In addition, the position requires advising clients on copyright and trade secrets and drafting and negotiating intellectual property agreements. Candidates should be committed to providing exceptional client service while contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Successful candidates should have the following:
- 2–7 years of intellectual property law experience.
- Experience with trademark prosecution and clearance preferred.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong sense of service to our clients and colleagues.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of professionalism and work ethic.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates with experience with some book of business.
