The Fort Lauderdale office of Florida Defense Litigation Lawyers seeks an associate attorney with 1+ years of insurance defense experience in Florida, preferably in first-party property.Your Day-to-Day:
- Draft and review substantive pleadings and motions, respond to discoveries, and drive motions.
- Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and settlement negotiations.
- Must be proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
- Communicate in a highly effective manner with colleagues and clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense/first-party property
- Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing, required
- Stellar academic credentials
