In-House Attorney – Real Estate & Property Management
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Time Off: Weekends and holidays off
Location: Rome, NY

We manage a diverse portfolio of properties and are looking for an In-House Attorney to join our team and help us navigate the exciting (and sometimes complex) world of real estate law.

What You'll Do:
You'll be the go-to legal resource for our team, helping us make smart, compliant decisions as we grow. Day to day, you'll:

Review and draft contracts, leases, and agreements.
Provide practical legal advice on property management issues, tenant matters, and compliance questions.
Assist with acquisitions, sales, and financing transactions.
Help manage risk, resolve disputes, and coordinate with outside counsel when needed.
Keep our team informed of any new laws or regulations that could impact operations.

Who You Are:
We're looking for someone who's not just legally sharp, but also approachable, solution-oriented, and ready to be a key part of our leadership team. Ideally, you have:

A J.D. from an accredited law school and a license to practice in New York.
1-3+ years of experience in real estate law, property management, or related areas.
A practical mindset — you know how to balance legal precision with business goals.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
