Job Summary:Join our dynamic legal team as an Immigration Attorney, where you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the complexities of immigration law. Your expertise will empower individuals and families to navigate their immigration journeys with confidence.
What You'll Do:
- Advise clients on family, humanitarian and removal immigration matters, including I-130, AOS, VAWA, U Visa, Asylum, TPS, Master & Individual hearings.
- Represent clients in immigration court and during administrative hearings.
- Draft and file legal documents, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough legal research.
- Utilize legal strategies on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes in immigration cases.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within the law office's management system.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration policies and laws to provide informed advice.
Basic Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar association and active practice status.
- Strong writing skills for legal drafting and documentation.
- At least 3 years full time experience as an immigration attorney focusing your practice on crimmigration and humanitarian immigration benefits.
- Spanish speaker.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successful outcomes for clients.
- Previous removal proceeding/immigration court experience in a fast-paced environment.
