Donoso & Partners, LLC is a nationally recognized immigration law firm located in Bethesda MD. We are seeking a full-time immigration attorney to work in business immigration cases such as E-2, L-1A, H-1B, TN, PERM, EB-5 direct investments and regional center investments; EB-1A and EB-2 National Interest Waivers. We are looking for an experienced self-motivated lawyer to fill a full-time position.The position requires a JD degree and membership in a state bar. The ability to speak and write Spanish or Chinese is helpful.

Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively on projects with lawyers and legal assistants related to immigration law work.
- Handle direct communications with clients, USCIS and Consular Posts.
- Locate and develop case relevant information, and develop and communicate case analysis and strategies to clients.
- Provide direction and supervision to legal assistants to prepare and file visa documents, waivers and similar immigration legal documents and correspondence
- Answer phone calls and hold client meetings in-person or through Zoom or other media.
- Maintain track of open and pending matters and update clients regularly on case progress.
- Analyze requests for evidence and similar USCIS or Government Correspondence; develop a response strategy and prepare and complete response filings on a timely basis.
- Monitor deadlines and maintain a timely calendar internally and with clients.
Skills:
- Proven interest in immigration law and 1-5 years of working experience as an immigration lawyer
- Computer literacy
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong writing skills in English
- Ability to communicate with clients in Spanish or Chinese is valued
- Excellent organizational skills'
