We are growing and seeking a Business Law Attorney to join our team and play a key role in supporting our expanding client base.
Responsibilities:
- Advise business clients on a wide range of legal matters, including entity formation, contracts, compliance, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Provide proactive legal strategies that minimize risks and foster business growth.
- Represent clients in business disputes and collaborate with litigation teams when needed.
- Stay current with changes in business and corporate law and provide clients with timely guidance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and excellent service.
- Contribute to business development by leveraging existing client relationships or demonstrating the ability to generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Maryland Bar. Other jurisdictions are a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in business, corporate, or transactional law.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ideally, candidates bring a book of business or a demonstrated track record of originating client matters.
