HOA and Condominium Association Collection Attorney: Community Association Attorneys is looking to add a bankruptcy and collection attorney to our community association practice and growing firm. Our ideal candidate has two to five years of creditor side bankruptcy and collection litigation related experience and must be licensed to practice law in Georgia. This position offers the opportunity to represent condominium and homeowner associations in bankruptcy and collection matters.

The community association practice, much like a county or town counsel, includes advising boards of directors on every-day corporate issues; drafting governing documents and corporate document amendments; covenant enforcement; Fair Housing Act issues; contract review, negotiation, and enforcement; nonprofit advice; parliamentary procedure; assessment collection; insurance defense litigation; intra-corporate and election disputes; and general real estate counsel and litigation.

Requirements:
  • Member of the State Bar of Georgia
  • Bankruptcy experience, preferably for creditors
