Mayer Brown's Washington, DC office is seeking a motivated, high performing associate with three to four years (JD 2023-2022) of relevant business immigration experience to join our Global Mobility & Migration practice, although we may consider exceptional candidates outside of that band. Qualified candidates will have experience with the full range of US employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant categories, including but not limited to H-1B, L-1, PERM, I-140s in the EB-1/EB-2/EB-3 categories, and AOS, as well as experience managing client immigration portfolios. The ideal candidate will have superior oral, written, and interpersonal skills, demonstrate a commitment to outstanding client service, and thrive in a dynamic work environment requiring collaboration across all levels within the practice. Responsibilities include counseling clients on the strategic use of visa options to meet hiring needs, drafting petitions for benefits requests and responses to agency inquiries (including RFEs and NOIDs), interfacing with agencies including USCIS, DOL, and DOS, researching and analyzing the impact of changes in law and policy on client matters, and assisting with audits and compliance projects.

The salary for this position is $260,000 to $310,000, although the actual salary could be lower or higher if the candidate's skills and experience level are different from those specified above.
