Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in multiple offices for a tax controversy associate in our Litigation Department. The ideal candidate must have three to five years of relevant experience.Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) and LLM in Taxation required. Must be licensed to practice law in the state where the office resides.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Tax court clerkship or IRS counsel experience, or DOJ tax division/tax branch experience required.
- Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
- Tax controversy experience (audits, appeals) required.
- Experience in tax litigation.
- Experience managing multiple matters at the same time.
- Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys and clients.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent client services skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements:
