Description:
What You'll Do:- Work closely with An American Electric Vehicle and Clean Energy Company's business to ensure our operations comply with relevant laws and internal policies and procedures
- Recommend additions or updates to processes and controls when instance of non-compliance are identified
- Conduct internal investigations, as needed, of potential violations of law or An American Electric Vehicle and Clean Energy Company policy
- Support third-party due diligence screenings to identify and mitigate compliance risks
- Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training programs
What You'll Bring
- A Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school and a member of a state bar, or equivalent
- 3+ years of legal experience with exposure to commercial transactions, litigation, and corporate compliance
- Ability to work collaboratively and successfully with a variety of stakeholders throughout the An American Electric Vehicle and Clean Energy Company business and corporate functions
- A passion to address ethics and compliance challenges facing multi-national companies
- Ability to work well both autonomously and collaboratively, and effectively manage and prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced, challenging environment
