Description:
A Recycling Center is in growth mode and currently seeking an Attorney to act as General Counsel.Qualifications/Requirements:
- Juris Doctor Degree Required
- Admitted to practice in New York State
- Minimum 10 years of civil litigation experience in A Recycling Center.
- Experience drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery demands, and responses.
- Leadership/Management experience, you must be willing and able to take on all major matters personally and to guide junior counsel.
- Fluent understanding of electronic filing via NYSCEF.
- Reliable, hardworking, and motivated.
- Drug free
General Counsel Responsibilities:
- Provide general counsel to Senior Management team and other attorneys.
- Settlements
- Discovery demands and depositions
- Court appearances when needed
- Possible trial work
