Job Summary:
East West Manufacturing is seeking a Corporate Counsel to help shape and scale our legal function in support of a growing global business. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this role will serve as a legal generalist supporting global operations and a wide range of strategic initiatives. The Corporate Counsel will work closely with the General Counsel, Executive Leadership, and Manufacturing Leaders, playing a key role in the continued evolution of the legal department.

- Draft, negotiate, and finalize a broad range of commercial and operational agreements—including customer, supplier, manufacturing, and services contracts—serving as the legal lead for cross‑functional, interdisciplinary teams to protect the business and ensure compliance with applicable global laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Provide practical, business‑focused legal guidance on contract interpretation, global regulatory requirements, risk allocation, and dispute resolution, enabling informed decision‑making across international operations.
- Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Human Resources, and Manufacturing Leadership to identify, assess, and manage legal and regulatory risks associated with global manufacturing, sourcing, and operational activities.
- Support scalable growth by developing and delivering training, guidance, and best practices related to contracts, compliance, and legal processes for domestic and international stakeholders.
- Develop creative, compliant solutions to complex commercial and operational challenges, including customer, supplier, and manufacturing‑related disputes; oversee litigation strategy when necessary and manage outside counsel globally.
- Review, draft, and maintain company policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable employment, trade, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Knowledge, Ability & Skills
- Minimum 3+ Years of Corporate and Commercial Law Experience in A Well‑regarded Law Firm And/or In‑house Legal Department.
- U.S. Law Degree (j.D.) Required.
- Admission to Practice Law in Georgia or The Ability to Register as In‑house Counsel in Georgia.
- Demonstrated Ability to Independently Manage Complex, Global Legal Matters End‑to‑end—from Initial Risk Assessment Through Structuring, Negotiation, Drafting, Execution, and Post‑execution Dispute Resolution—while Maintaining the Highest Standards of Integrity and Ethics.
- Strong Negotiation, Communication, and Drafting Skills, with The Ability to Translate Legal Concepts Into Clear, Practical Guidance for Manufacturing, Operational, and Executive Stakeholders.
- Experience Supporting Manufacturing, Industrial, or Supply‑chain‑driven Businesses, Including Exposure to Global Operations, Suppliers, and Customers.
- Proven Ability to Work Collaboratively Across Multiple Functions and Geographies, Including Teams and Stakeholders Located Outside the United States.
- Proactive, Solutions‑oriented Approach to Identifying Legal and Compliance Risks, Initiating Effective Solutions, and Driving Follow‑through in A Fast‑paced, Operational Environment.
- Interest in Continuously Improving and Scaling Legal Processes Through Standardization, Technology Enablement, and Ongoing Feedback from Global Business Partners.
