Description:
A well-established downtown law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented attorney with 0–5 years of experience to join our growing litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload focused primarily on family law and general civil litigation while gaining meaningful courtroom and client interaction experience.Responsibilities:
- Manage family law and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other litigation-related proceedings.
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Develop case strategies and assist in trial preparation.
- Maintain case files and ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license and good standing with the State Bar.
- 0–5 years of experience in family law, civil litigation, or a related practice area.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Courtroom experience is preferred but not required.
