Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to manage cases independently. Spanish fluency is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a full caseload of family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, enforcement, and modifications.
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Maintain regular and professional communication with clients and opposing counsel.
- Provide strategic legal advice while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate effectively with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in the State of Texas (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of family law experience (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (highly preferred).
- Professional demeanor and commitment to client service.
