Employment Based Immigration AssociateIdeal candidates will have at least one year of employment-based immigration attorney experience in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and writing skills, organization, and research skills with attention to detail. Willingness to embrace change and adapt to clients' needs. Strong work ethic, proactive, positive attitude, and ability to work well in a team-centric environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement case strategies for Immigrant and Non-immigrant visa matters before agencies such as DOL, DOS and DHS
- Support highly-experienced attorneys in representation of clients.
- Collaborate with and oversee legal staff in successful delivery of assigned matters;
- Research U.S. immigration law and procedures;
- Communicate with Firm's clients including employees and representatives of multi-national corporations;
- Manage and prioritize a dynamic caseload; and
- Draft legal documents, maintain case records and run reports utilizing case tracking system and industry-standard software programs.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor; licensed and in good standing to practice law;
- One year of employment-based immigration with PERM applications, H-1B, L-1, TN, and E visas;
- Excellent communication and client management skills
