Description:
Cooper Levenson is seeking an experienced and motivated Family Law Attorney dually licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, to independently manage a diverse caseload, represent clients in both state courts, and provide strategic and compassionate legal counsel. This position is based out of our Cherry Hill, NJ location.Cooper Levenson is a premier, fast-growing law firm dedicated to guiding clients through life's most challenging transitions with empathy and fierce advocacy. Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence, post judgement motions, and related proceedings.
- Manage cases from initial consultation through resolution, including settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial.
- Draft pleadings, motions, certifications, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, motions, and trials.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel and the courts.
- Develop case strategies and provide practical, client-focused legal advice.
- Manage deadlines and maintain accurate case files.
- Participate in business development and networking opportunities as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar.
- 3-5 years' experience. Proficiency in New Jersey Family Law and willingness to learn Pennsylvania Family Law.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work in a deadline driven practice, required.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Client-focused mindset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer software programs.
