Description:
Experienced Colorado Family Law Attorney | Full-Time | Hybrid or Remote | $125,000–$300,000Hinds & Hinds Family Law, P.C. is seeking an experienced Colorado family law attorney who values professional autonomy, sophisticated legal work, and a sustainable career.
With roots going back to 1968, Hinds & Hinds is a well-established Colorado family law firm with a longstanding reputation for knowledgeable, individualized representation. Our attorneys handle matters ranging from negotiated and uncontested divorces to high-conflict parenting disputes, complex financial cases, and substantial property divisions.
We are committed to providing thoughtful, solution-oriented representation that recognizes the effect family disputes can have on children. When resolution is possible, we work to achieve it strategically and efficiently. When litigation becomes necessary, we are prepared to advocate vigorously for our clients.
A Different Kind of Family Law Practice
Hinds & Hinds does not impose a predetermined monthly billable-hour requirement on our attorneys.
We believe experienced attorneys can provide exceptional representation without sacrificing their families, health, or lives outside the office. Our attorneys are trusted to manage their caseloads, exercise independent professional judgment, and maintain appropriate control over their schedules.
We also offer a flexible vacation policy: attorneys are encouraged to take time away when they need it, subject to responsible management of client needs, deadlines, and professional obligations.
This is an opportunity to practice family law at a high level while maintaining greater balance and autonomy than the traditional law-firm model typically allows.
An Opportunity for an Established Attorney
This position may be particularly attractive to an experienced solo practitioner or established family law attorney who enjoys managing cases independently but would benefit from the resources, infrastructure, and professional support of a recognized firm.

- Office operations and general firm administration
An established referral network or portable caseload is welcomed, although our primary objective is to find the right attorney and long-term professional fit.

- Representing clients in mediation, conferences, evidentiary hearings, and trials
- Preparing witnesses, exhibits, and legal arguments for contested proceedings
- Maintaining clear, timely, and candid communication with clients
- Managing deadlines, client expectations, case strategy, and retainer considerations
- Collaborating effectively with the firm's attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff
