Holland & Hart's Private Client Group is seeking a junior to mid-level associate (2-6 years) to join their growing Denver-based team. This position will involve (i) creating, drafting, and implementing sophisticated wealth transfer plans for high-net-worth individuals and (ii) collaborating and assisting with all aspects of complex estate and trust administration matters.Position Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in trust & estate planning, a strong academic background, stellar interpersonal skills, the ability to proactively anticipate and resolve issues in a timely manner, and the aptitude to work in a team environment. Excellent legal research, verbal communication, and writing skills are required. A strong candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, solid organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a professional work environment. Prior professional experience in estate planning (or a related transactional field such as corporate or real estate) and/or an LLM is a plus.
Compensation and Expectations
Holland & Hart's compensation is merit-based—you'll be evaluated on your individual performance and achievements and on your contributions to the team's efforts. As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Holland & Hart is providing a good faith salary range for this position (if based in Colorado): $207,500 - $242,800.
Our generous bonus program rewards financial contributions and hard work and associates are also eligible for fee splits.
Holland & Hart expects associate attorneys to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), in addition to at least 25 hours dedicated to Community-building, Diversity & Inclusion Investment hours.
