Helen F. Dalton & Associates, P.C. is seeking an accomplished plaintiff personal injury attorney with 3–10 years of litigation experience who is ready for something more — exceptional compensation, strong support, meaningful autonomy, and a firm that values the experience you bring to the table.
You've already put in the years developing your skills. You know how to manage cases, take depositions, appear in court, negotiate, and advocate for your clients.
We're not looking to teach you how to practice law. We're looking to give you the support and resources to practice it at a high level.
The support to focus on practicing law
You'll have your own dedicated paralegal to help manage the day-to-day progression of your cases.
Our goal is simple: let attorneys spend their time being attorneys.
You'll have the support to focus on litigation strategy, depositions, court appearances, negotiations, case valuation, client advocacy, and moving cases toward successful resolution.
You'll have significant independence over your matters while still being part of a collaborative firm where experienced attorneys can discuss strategy and rely on one another when needed.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Independently managing plaintiff personal injury matters
- Developing and executing litigation strategy
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Handling court appearances, conferences, and motions
- Drafting and arguing substantive motions
- Evaluating liability, damages, and case value
- Negotiating settlements
- Preparing cases for mediation, settlement, and trial
- Working closely with your dedicated paralegal

Who We're Looking for:
- New York State Bar admission and good standing
- 3–10 years of personal injury litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of New York litigation practice
- Substantial deposition and courtroom experience
- Strong motion practice and legal writing skills
- Excellent negotiation and case evaluation skills
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
