Massachusetts law firm with fast paced and diverse legal practice offering an estate planning and litigation attorney position for an attorney with 5-6 years of experience. The position included salary compensation commensurate with experience, discretionary quarterly bonus compensation, and excellent benefits including paid vacation, paid holidays, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401k with 3% employer contributions.

Total Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
  • Conduct legal research, discovery, and case strategy development.
  • Attend and participate in court hearings, pre-trials, depositions, and trials.
  • Maintain strong client communication and manage caseload independently with oversight as needed.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within a supportive, team-based atmosphere.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice and in good standing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (additionally seeking Rhode Island).
  • 5-6 years of estate planning and litigation experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and commitment to client service.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
