Position Overview:Zahn Law Global is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney with 4–6 years of experience drafting estate planning documents and advising on trust administration and funding.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience drafting revocable and irrevocable trusts, including SLATs, ILITs, and charitable trusts, and a strong understanding of estate and gift tax law and sophisticated planning structures
Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of global gift and estate tax planning, including experience advising multijurisdictional families with worldwide assets.
This is a full-time, in-office position in New York City, five days per week. This is not a hybrid role.
Qualifications:
- Admission to practice law in New York.
- Excellent research and drafting skills.
- Experience with estate planning, probate, trust administration, and trust funding.
- Strong knowledge of estate and gift tax law, including relevant tax treaties.
- Proficiency in Wealth Counsel, LEAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take initiative, and move matters forward.
- Mandarin capabilities are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
