A Premier Law Firm has an excellent reputation and a roster of high profile clients including Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies in industries such as telecommunications, technology, energy, nanotechnology, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences.
The Energy and Renewables Team seeks to hire an attorney (Albany, Buffalo, or Rochester) with 4-8 years of experience handling regulatory matters related to the energy sector. Ideally candidates should have experience practicing before a state public utility commission and/or handling issues involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Department of Energy, or New York Independent System Operator (or other similar Regional Transmission Organization). Prior work experience within the government or at a utility or energy company is a plus, but not required.
