Description:
The Dawson County Attorney's Office in Lexington, Nebraska, is seeking applications for a full-time Deputy County Attorney position. Interested persons must be licensed to practice law in the State of Nebraska. New graduates pursuing a Nebraska license are also encouraged to apply.This position provides regular courtroom/trial experience and the opportunity to work closely with a group of seasoned attorneys. Primary duties will include:
- Criminal prosecution of adult felony and misdemeanor cases
- Include covering assigned on-call periods to answer after-hours legal questions from law enforcement
- Handle coroner matters.
