Description:

A Government Entity is seeking an Assistant Attorney General (AAG) for its Consumer Protection Bureau. This is a full-time role located in Lincoln, NE, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Consumer Protection AAG, you will work to ensure that Nebraska consumers are protected from fraudulent and deceptive business practices, and you'll safeguard free and fair competition in the marketplace. You will serve as the frontline defense for Nebraskan consumers, both in state and multistate actions, and in enforcement efforts. Your work will help bring justice for consumers, protect vulnerable communities, shape policy, and help enact industry changes in Nebraska and nationwide.

Consumer Protection AAGs take a hands-on and often first-chair role in litigation and enforcement matters with meaningful impact. In our republic and system of federalism, the States serve a vital role in consumer protection. Your work as AAG would play a crucial part of those efforts.

Many of us have left the billable hour behind to focus our time on doing meaningful, service-oriented work. We are team-players who hail from all sorts of backgrounds that are united by our passion for protecting consumers. When we aren't “fighting the good fight,” our team likes to step outside the office to grab lunch, treats, or beverages together.
