In this role, the attorney will work in a highly collaborative, team environment to provide legal counsel to organizations seeking to ensure compliance with the complex and ever-evolving legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to data privacy, data security, and consumer protection, and also seeking to best prepare for the investigation of and response to a data privacy event. Services provided include, but are not limited to, the assessment of incident response readiness and development of incident response plans, performance of tabletop exercises, identification and development of legal and regulatory impact assessments, development of state, federal, and international data privacy and data security compliance programs, development of vendor management programs, development of data privacy and data security policies and procedures, and privileged security assessments. This attorney will also support the incident response practice group and may support the regulatory investigation and litigation practice groups on discreet research matters.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in data privacy compliance, membership in good standing to the Pennsylvania, a curiosity to learn more about cybersecurity law, and an enthusiastic and team-oriented attitude. Experience in cybersecurity incident response a plus. Exceptional legal research, analytic, writing, communication, and preparation skills, plus focused attention to detail are key to performing well in our highly responsive environment. Candidates should demonstrate initiative and the ability to collaboratively manage cases.
