A client-centric immigration law firm is looking for its next attorney all-star. We have grown so much and so fast. We currently have offices in San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas and will soon expand to additional offices in other states.

The perfect candidate will be a highly motivated individual passionate about advocacy for the immigrant community. Our firm provides highly client-centered representation and requires a patient, efficient, thorough, and creative associate.

Duties:
  • Develop and implement removal defense strategies for clients.
  • Represent clients in immigration court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and file legal briefs, motions, and appeals.
  • Stay current with changes in immigration law and regulations.
  • Manage caseload and meet deadlines for court appearances and filings.
  • Provide clear and accurate billing to clients.
  • This position will require travel as we represent clients before USCIS and EOIR in all states.
  • Personality testing to ensure a cultural fit will be required but covered by the firm.

Requirements:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to a state bar.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience practicing immigration law, focusing on removal defense.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to social justice and serving immigrant communities.

Experience:
Immigration law: 3 years (Preferred)

Spanish (Required)

License/Certification:
Texas Bar Licence (Required)
