Description:
The Labor & Employment Group of A Premier Full-Service Law Firm is seeking an associate
in the Houston ?office ?with 1 – 5 years' experience. The candidate must
be admitted to the bar in Texas or preparing to ?obtain such admission
in 2024 through reciprocity with another state, have excellent academic
?credentials, and have spent the majority of their career to date in the
area of ?employment law. This position will provide meaningful
responsibility for ?employment-related counseling, ?transactional
drafting, and litigation matters (single plaintiff and collective/class
actions), ?including issues involving hiring and separation, wage and
hour, EEO, non-compete and trade secrets, employment policies and
agreements, due diligence for corporate transactions, employee
?accommodation and leave issues, investigations, public accommodation
access for persons with disabilities, OSHA, and any other employment
?law issues. The ?candidate should have strong research and writing and
public speaking skills, ?and experience and responsibility in a broad
base of employment issues. ?
