The Law Offices of Alexander Borell is a multi-state law firm that has been in practice since 1989. We started out as a small real estate firm and have built a high-volume, general practice that focuses on many different areas of law, such as: Family, Criminal, Debt Defense, Real Estate, and Immigration.We are currently looking for a talented and passionate Criminal Law Attorney to join our team and grow with us!
THIS ROLE IS HYBRID-REMOTE AND WILL REQUIRE YOU TO BE IN THE CENTRAL FLORIDA AREA for court appearances as necessary.
Our ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Florida Bar
- Proven experience in criminal law practice
- Thorough understanding of Florida criminal law statutes, case law, and court procedures, including familiarity with the Florida Penal Code, evidence rules, and criminal procedure.
- Strong litigation skills, including legal research, drafting legal documents, negotiation with prosecutors, and courtroom representation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively advocate for clients and build trust.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus but not required
