Description:
A full-service AV-Rated law firm has immediate need in our Orlando office for a Guardianship Elder Law Associate to focus primarily on complex guardianship planning work for high-net-worth clients. The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of strong guardianship, special needs estate planning experience, Medicaid planning experience, strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. Must have excellent attention to detail, be comfortable interacting with clients, be a team player and have strong ability to multi-task.Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload from start to finish.
- Intake and Consultations.
- Drafting, e-filing, and serving pleadings.
- Managing clients' expectations and returning all calls within 24 hours during the week.
- Court appearances in the Orlando area and throughout Florida, if necessary.
- Networking and building relationships to grow the business.
Requirements:
- Florida bar license.
- Minimum 5-10 years of Guardianship, Medicaid Planning and/or Estate Planning experience. With focus on special needs planning.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow-through.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Adapt well to change and maintain a positive attitude under stress.
- Ability to multitask and stay focused on the most important and urgent issues.

- Litigation experience preferred.
