Description:
Growing and well-established law firm based in Glen Burnie is seeking a Traffic and Criminal Defense Attorney to handle primarily District Court matters throughout Maryland.This position is ideal for a former Public Defender or Assistant State's Attorney, though such experience is preferred, not required. We also welcome lateral moves from experienced criminal defense attorneys looking for a stable, high-volume practice with strong support.
Responsibilities include:
- Representing clients in Maryland District Court on traffic and criminal matters
- Handling hearings, motions, and negotiations with the State
- Managing a caseload with the support of experienced staff
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Bar license
- Criminal or traffic court experience preferred
- Strong courtroom presence and client communication skills
- Ability to manage a busy District Court docket
