Small, but dynamic, collegial and fast-growing Plaintiffs' civil rights firm in Silver Spring Maryland, seeks ambitious Associate Attorney with 0 to 4 years of experience (including 2024 graduates) to work on federal court plaintiff-side employment cases, principally involving wage and hour disputes.Requirements:
Candidates must have a strong interest in plaintiff-side litigation and in development of the law in ways that benefits wage and hour plaintiffs, have strong legal writing, research and organizational skills and be able to work in a team-oriented collaborative environment. The job involves case screening, drafting complaints, discovery, factual development, brief writing, motions practice, trial preparation and trial advocacy. Candidates must be members of the Maryland bar or be eligible to become members. Membership in the D.C. bar is preferred. Salary is $70,000 to $115,000 commensurate with skill, educational background and experience. In addition, discretionary performance-based bonuses.
