Description:
We are a busy insurance defense firm seeking an experienced litigation attorney to provide coverage support on a flexible, contract basis.This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator looking to stay engaged in substantive work without the demands of a full-time practice. Paid training on our internal systems will be provided (in-office). This is a fully remote position, with court appearances as necessary.
What You'll Do:
- Attend and handle court appearances, including motion hearings and status conferences
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Provide litigation coverage for our team as needed
- Opportunities to assist with motion practice or strategy, depending on interest
- Work is available across a variety of matters
What We're Looking For:
- Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan
- 10+ years of litigation experience
- Comfortable handling court appearances and depositions independently
- Reliable, responsive, and able to step into matters with minimal ramp-up
- Strong advocacy and practical problem-solving skills
