Job Description:
Clyde & Co is seeking an Associate in our Phoenix office with 3 to 6 years of insurance coverage litigation experience. The Associate must be proactive, motivated and organized, and must possess excellent research and writing skills.

Responsibilities and requirements:

Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions and provide coverage recommendations for clients
Conduct legal research
Draft pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions and other legal correspondence
Prepare and respond to written discovery
Attend and conduct depositions, EUOs, hearings, mediations and trials as required

Education and Experience:

Admitted to practice in Arizona
Admitted in other states is a plus (particularly CA, TX, or WA), but not required
3+ years of insurance coverage experience
Experience with first-party property and third-party liability claims, bad faith, and declaratory judgment actions
Experience with primary and excess personal lines and commercial general liability policies
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to handle time sensitive matters
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
