Job Description:
Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP, a leading international law firm, is seeking a midlevel to senior real estate associate to join our Real Estate practice group at a pivotal moment within the firm. As an Am Law 50 firm handling sophisticated matters at the local, national, and global level, this is an exciting opportunity to join a practice and the firm at the leading edge of the market. This position is open to the Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle offices.

Our Real Estate practice focuses on acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, construction and development, financing, and real estate investment across a wide variety of property types and industry sectors — including an active and growing data center practice encompassing colocation transactions, hyperscaler leasing, and powered land acquisitions and dispositions serving hyperscalers, institutional capital, and infrastructure developers.

Four to six years of relevant transactional real estate experience is required. Candidates with familiarity with AI tools — including large language models, document automation, and workflow orchestration — will be preferred. The successful candidate will have the ability to draft, manage, and negotiate complex transaction documents and interface directly with clients and counterparties. They will also be able to mentor and train junior associates in the group. They will bring strong business judgment and the ability to think beyond the transaction — anticipating issues, structuring solutions, and delivering work product that reflects genuine care and precision. We are looking for someone who is client-obsessed, analytical, organized, responsive, entrepreneurial, and ambitious; someone who thinks in terms of client outcomes, not just tasks. The ability to build relationships — with a variety of clients, colleagues across the firm, and counterparties — and a commitment to in-office collaboration are essential to success in this role.

Our team (and the broader firm) is growing, high-performing, and deeply embedded in the markets we serve. For the right candidate, this is a platform to develop and be a part of a globally recognized practice in one of the most dynamic sectors in commercial real estate. Ashurst Perkins Coie has been listed on Fortune's Best Places to Work for 24 consecutive years. We are regularly recognized for creating a workplace culture where all employees have the opportunity to grow and reach their full potential.

To be considered, please submit your cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and a brief writing sample. Principals only.
