Job Description: A Client-Centered Law Firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Attorney who will play a pivotal role in advocating for our clients' rights and delivering outstanding legal services. In this position, the Counsel will assist in leading our on environmental litigation team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with leading and managing the environmental litigation team including attorneys and support staff.
  • Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking, and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
  • Perform legal research.
  • Make court appearances as necessary.
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
  • Collaborate with attorneys on cases.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law.
  • 10+ years of experience litigation.
  • Environmental/ Toxic Torts experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office, Familiarity with E-Discovery and law programs such as, Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, FileVine, OneLegal.
  • A successful candidate will be detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
  • This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
