A Law Firm Handling Corporate and Technology Matters, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking an attorney with 7-15 years of experience to join its growing healthcare litigation practice as a Special Counsel in its Los Angeles or San Diego office. We represent many of the nation's largest insurers and health care service plans. Our attorneys serve as national counsel on institutional issues and other matters involving significant financial risk and are also appellate specialists who have contributed to the development of the law in the insurance and healthcare areas. For the right candidate, the position will offer extensive client contact, significant responsibility, and career growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Big firm experience with cases involving complex legal issues, and experience running cases and managing more junior attorneys.
Strong academic background from a top-tier law school.
Exceptional writing skills is essential.
The team tries cases frequently, so trial experience is a plus but not essential.
