We are searching for mid-level and senior associates to join our Corporate group in our New York office to focus on transactional matters, including Growth Equity transactions and Mergers and Acquisitions. The ideal candidates will have proven experience in M&A.We are seeking motivated, team-oriented, and collaborative attorneys who are excited about working with clients in the start-up and venture capital ecosystem. Your practice at Gunderson would involve a focus on supporting investor-side financings in later stage financing rounds and M&A. You will have significant client contact daily, and must be comfortable interacting with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners of venture funds.
The ideal candidates have at least 3-6 years of experience with M&A and/or growth equity financing transactions, including experience as primary lead attorney on such transactions. Candidates will handle multiple client matters simultaneously and have meaningful client contact starting from day one.
Job Requirements:
- JD 2020-2023
- Previous large law firm experience required.
- Candidates must be admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of New York.
- Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds.
- Demonstrated experience in M&A and/or growth equity financing transactions.
- Significant knowledge of M&A and/or late-stage private company financings and secondary liquidity transactions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are highly valued.
Salary Range:
$260,000 - $390,000
