Troutman Pepper Locke is seeking a mid-level associate to join our Corporate Practice Group. The position may be based in any city where the firm has an office, with preference given to Richmond, Atlanta, or Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of corporate governance and securities experience representing public companies, including reviewing 1934 Act reports, proxy statements, and other disclosures; advising on stock exchange listing matters; and working on capital markets transactions and public company mergers and acquisitions. Candidates must have strong analytical and drafting skills, excellent organization and matter management abilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and supervising attorneys. Ideal candidates will have experience of second-chairing complex transactions and interacting directly with clients.This is an opportunity to represent clients in a national corporate practice and participate immediately in sophisticated matters. The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $350,000, dependent on relevant years of experience.
Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in the state in which they wish to practice, with excellent academic credentials.
