What You'll Do:
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and related agreements.
- Advise clients on legal risk, compliance issues, and project-specific disputes.
- Assist with claims involving delays, defects, liens, change orders, and payment disputes.
- Participate in litigation, arbitration, and mediation matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and strategy memoranda.
- Work closely with senior attorneys on case development, trial preparation, and client strategy.
What We're Looking For:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
- 1–3 years of experience in construction law, commercial litigation, or a related practice area.
- Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional presence and strong client communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Georgia lien law and bond claims.
- Experience handling construction disputes.
- Exposure to AIA contracts or similar industry-standard agreements.
- Experience with ConsensusDocs is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $120,000–$150,000, depending on experience.
